In a spirited face-off at El Cariso Park, the Los Angeles Mission College Men's soccer team, fondly known as the Eagles, endured a narrow defeat to the visiting Santa Barbara team on October 20, 2023. Despite a vibrant second-half comeback, the Eagles succumbed with a final score of 3-2.

The home crowd, though recorded as nonexistent, metaphorically filled the stands with their support, buzzing with anticipation as the referee Shahin Torosian blew the starting whistle at 6:00 PM.
