Eagles Finish Strong

Mission softball wins doubleheader against Victor Valley College to finish the 2017 spring season. 

In game one the Eagles scored ten runs on thirteen hits. Marisa Marcial led the offense with a 4-5 effort, and Andrea Contreras added with three hits. Isabel Mercado had two hits including a grand slam. 

Starting pitcher, Naomi Benevidez, went the full seven innings allowing six runs on twelve hits. 

In the 16-2 victory in game two, the Eagles tallied eleven hits. 

Marisa Marcial, Andrea Contreras, Nicole Lindeman, Mia Lopez, and Isabel Mercado each had multiple hit and RBI efforts. Lopez and Lindeman both hitting homeruns to lift the Eagles. 

Starting pitcher, Carmen Vargas, allowed only two runs on two hits.
