Eagles Get Big Win
L.A. Mission baseball get's a HUGE victory over Bakersfield, Tuesday.
Eagles needing a win to tie up the series with Renegades, answer with a 6-5 victory.
The Eagles were trailing 4-2 in the seventh inning until Peter Abinanti comes through with a bases loaded double, putting them up 5-2.
Fast forward to the eigth inning after the Renegades put up three runs, tying it up at 5-5. Sam Gray comes in clutch with a line drive base hit to score the winning run, putting the Eagles back on top 6-5.
Ben Kaser (2-1) came in to relieve starting pitcher Gonzalo Rios late in the third inning. Kaser settles in nicely allowing only one run off one hit, striking out four.
Eagles are now 5-2 in conference play, putting them in first place overall.
Baseball is back in action Thursday, March 16 at home against West LA, 2:30 p.m.
