Welcome Coach Brian Hernandez! The new Head Baseball Coach for the Eagles.

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Brian Hernandez as our new Head Baseball Coach. Brian brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for the game, making him an exceptional addition to our team.

Brian grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where his love for baseball began. He started his journey on the fields of Granada Hills Little League and North Valley Pony, honing his skills and building a solid foundation in the sport.

He attended Bishop Alemany High School, where his talent shone brightly, earning him three All-Mission League selections. After high school, Brian's baseball career continued to flourish. As a freshman at California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), he was named a D2 Freshman All-American and earned the prestigious title of CCAA Freshman of the Year.

Brian's sophomore year was spent at the College of the Canyons (COC), where he was named Conference Player of the Year. He then completed his college career at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine), achieving significant recognition as a two-time First Team Big West Selection and Defensive Player of the Year in his senior year.

In 2011, Brian's hard work and dedication paid off when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 27th round. He spent six years with the Angels Organization, reaching as high as AA. The last four years of his playing career took him to Mexico, where he competed in the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol (LMB) and Liga Mexicana del Pacífico (LMP) with teams in Mazatlán, Mexicali, Laguna, and Cancun.

Brian's extensive playing career has equipped him with a deep understanding of the game and a passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes. His commitment to developing players and passing down his knowledge is evident in his approach to coaching.

We are excited to have Brian Hernandez lead our baseball program and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our athletes and the overall success of our team.
