Male Athlete of the Month

This month’s male Athlete of the Month is Men’s soccer’s Erick Villatoro.

The Freshman Villatoro is listed as a midfielder but is currently playing for the Eagle’s as a forward.

He is one of the assist leaders on the team and says he always focuses on getting his teammates involved.

He has also been working on trying to be an active goal scorer by putting himself in good positions and making open runs to create more opportunities.  

He has been playing the game since we was just five years old when his mother got him involved in the sport playing for team at the park.

Villatoro found success at Birmingham High school wining an LA City Championship his junior year as well as being named city player of the year.

He says right now the Eagles are trying to stay focused on cutting down on errors and they are working toward making a successful run in playoffs.
